Dr. Michael Nwoko Urges Deltans To Pray And Uphold The Peace, Unity Of The State and Country.

The Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on health monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko has urged the good people of Delta State to continue to pray and be committed to maintaining the peace and unity of Delta State and Nigeria.

The SSA emphasised that the country will pull through her present challenges, only if citizens show robust commitment to building peace, unity and progress of the country adding that no country has ever attained full independence without overcoming her internal problems.

The SSA in a message released to the press on the occasion of the 59th independence day anniversary of Nigeria, commended His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State, for deploying his ingenus leadership acumen and prudence managerial skill to initiate and implement people oriented policies and programs, which have gone a long way in emiliorating the hard effects of the prevailing socioeconomic predicaments within the country in Delta State.

His words, “today, Nigeria marks her 59th independence anniversary. I want to congratulate my fellow Deltans for the journey so far.”

“I equally want to urge all Deltans in particular and Nigerians in general to always exhibit robust sense of patriotism and absolute commitment in promoting peace, unity and progress of the Country. No country has attained full independence until it has overcome her internal proplems.”

“I also want to use this occasion to commend His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State, for deploying his leadership acumen and prudence managerial skill to initiate and implement policies and programs, which have gone a long way in emiliorating the harsh effect of the national economic challenges on Deltans”.

“I wish our dear Country Nigeria and Delta State a warm 59th independence day celebration!” he concluded.
