Dr. Nwoko stated this on Sunday 8th December, when he played host to the meeting of the youths at the party’s ward10 Secretariat in Idumuje Ugboko, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Dr. Nwoko, was accompanied by his adorable wife, Pharm Mrs. Blessing Nwoko and his aides. They were joined at the meeting by the LGA executive of the party.
In his address to the youths, Dr. Nwoko said, ‘I want to first of all, acknowledge the presence of the Local Government Area Chairman of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Victor Egbune and his entourage, we appreciate your presence Mr. Chairman and members of your executive. I also want to use this opportunity to commend the ward 10 youth wing of our great party for the support they rendered to the Party, during the last general elections.’ He stated.
Continuing, the SSA to the Governor added, your efforts during the elections, no doubt made our party to record massive votes during the last general elections and of course contributed to the overwhelming votes recorded by our amiable Governor, His Excellency Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, in this LGA during the Governorship election. I want to commend you for all the sacrifices you made to make this happen. I equally want to commend you for the peaceful way you conducted yourself during the elections. In fact, I make bold to say that ward 10 has never had any record of violence during elections since the inception of the current political dispensation in the country and I am very proud of you,’
Further he said, ‘I am also happy that you have continue to hold this periodic meetings, as we started it in 2015. It is very necessary for you to be meeting regularly to articulate the problems of the ward and profer ways to solve them.
We are aware of the issues of youth empowerment and are attending to it, we are doing the little we can to address the challenges facing some of you and I want you to continue holding meetings regularly, together and gradually we shall touch everybody. As usual I will keep supporting the hosting of the meetings.’ Dr Nwoko assured the youths conclusively.

The PDP LGA boss also admonished political appointees in the area to emulate Dr. Michael Nwoko’s efforts in building the party in his ward and advice them not to take their appointment for personal self aggrandizement but rather as a means to contribute to the development of their communities, adding such community development efforts will strengthen the PDP grassroot based.
