AT 40, DR. MICHAEL NWOKO CELEBRATES WITH ORPHANAGE HOME.
By Frank Iroroh
Age forty is special in the life of everyone as it marks the age of total transmutation of our entire being from the incipient adolescence age to a matured adult age. The age of rational and logical reasoning. This is the reason, the ancient adage said, “a fool at 40 is a fool for ever”.
So, attaining 40, is attaining WISDOM which is the key to greatness in life. Wisdom is what King Solomon, the greatest King ever, sought from God.
For the elect, age 40 is unique and on this unique day in his life, the young charismatic, ebullient and eloquent Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Health Monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko, chose to make the day memorable for the children at the Mother Of Divine Grace Orphanage Home, Asaba.
The SSA, out of his wisdom, decided to
throw a birthday bash in the Orphanage Home.
To share his happy moment with the over 100 children at the home, to inspire them to greatness with show of love and words of encouragement.
The birthday bash was big and thick featuring dancing competition, dancing with the celebrant and dancing with the invited guests, who all took to the dance floor to savour the joyful mood of the occasion.
Addressing the children, the celebrant, Dr. Michael Nwoko, admonished them to be of good behavior and study hard to attain their dreams in life.
His words, ‘today is my fortieth birthday and I am here to share this happy moment of my life with you. To show you that you are not forgotten. Orphans are not known to get involved in nefarious behaviours, in fact most have rose to become Presidents of countries, while some have built many multi billion naira companies.
So I want you to be of good behaviour and study hard to attain your dreams in life, we are here to support you to realise your life goals.’ Dr. Michael Nwoko counselled the children.
The occasion was chaired by Mr. Hillary Ibegbulem, the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor of Delta State. Other dignitaries at the occasion included; Dr Ben Nkechika, the Director General, Delta State Contributory Health Commission, Hon. Adim Elue, SSA to Governor Okowa on Political matters,
