AWARDS RAIN ON THE ENIGMATIC PRINCE OF PHILANTHROPY.

They came knocking to give honour to whom honour is due and actually, receiving honour, accolades and beautiful citations, have become part of routine and order of activities within the household of one of Delta State’s most accomplished international legal luminary, Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko.

infact, if all the plagues and other relics of honour he has received so far, right from the days he started his profession as a young lawyer, having the largest black law firm the UK, were to be lined up, it will stretch miles.

Yet they keep coming, struggling for space to get to him and you only need to listen to one of the award citation, to understand why Ned is highly celebrated all over the globe.

Just on Saturday 23rd November, 2019, at his exotic Resort, Idumuje Ugboko, groups were queuing to add their own plagues to the long list in his possession.

First among the groups was the Union of ex Local Government Council Chairmen of Nigeria, who came to confer on him, their Grand Patron and the reasons cited was because of his sterling qualities and matchless contributions towards the development of Local Government Councils in Nigeria.

  1. The bosses of local politics in Nigeria, also extolled his philanthropic and humanitarian disposition towards youth, students and the venerable in society.

His courage, boldness, foresights and professional acumen cum patriotism in initiating and securing the Paris Refunds, which came handy and help stabilized the economy of Nigeria, at a time the country was going through depressing economic hiccups, was not forgotten by the grassroot political leaders.

Earlier, same day, the University of Benin chapter of the Association of Delta State Post Graduate students presented a plague and a beautiful portrait of him to the Prince of philanthropy, and cited his outstanding advocacy on youth education, via the numerous scholarship he has given out to countless indigent students, as reason for the honour.

Also at the same occasion, Miss Ika Queen 2019, was presented to the Prince of cultural revival with a citation on his commitment and contributions towards the advancement of Anioma cultural heritage.

In all, the Star Prince, in a calm candour and humility with smiles on his face, appreciated the groups with a promised to continue to do what he think is necessary to help his people and society overcome teething challenges.
