Covid-19: Delta Records 7th Case.
Delta State has recorded its seventh case of coronavirus a few hours after Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s broadcast of partially relaxing the ban on movement in the state with effect from April 30, 2020.
The NCDC in their daily update announced 195 confirmed new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria which brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 1532.
NCDC said the new cases were recorded in 14 states and the FCT Abuja.
Details of the 195 new cases of COVID-19 as reported by NCDC are 80-Lagos, 38-Kano, 15-Ogun, 15-Bauchi, 11-Borno, 10-Gombe, 9-Sokoto, 5-Edo, 5-Jigawa, 2-Zamfara, 1-Rivers, 1-Enugu, 1-Delta, 1-FCT and 1-Nasarawa.
“As at 11:50pm 28th April, 1532 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. discharged: 255, deaths: 44″, the NCDC’s tweet read.
However, the Governor in his usual way has not officially announced it.
