DR MICHAEL NWOKO JOINS EMINENT DELTANS TO CONDOLE HILARY OBIOMA IBEGBULEM (THE LION) AS HE BIDS HIS UNCLE FINAL FARE WELL.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko was among eminent Deltans who joined Hon. Hillary Obioma Ibegbulem, the Principal Private Secretary to Governor Okowa, to commit the remains of his late beloved uncle, and forester father Chief Lucky Ogadi aka Poppy Joe, the Okwuobi of Ute Okpu kingdom, to mother earth on Saturday September 26 2020.
Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were the Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborhevware, the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chiedu Ebie, The State Director of Protocol, Hon. Ifeanyi Eboigbe, Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, Chief Monday Oyeme, Member representing Ika North East constituency at DTHA, Hon. Tony Elekeokwuri, the Delta State Commissioner for information, Hon. Charles Aniagwu and a host of other dignitaries within and outside the State.

  1. Speaking after the reception ceremony, Dr Nwoko stated that he was there to condole the family of late Chief Ogadi because of the special relationship he has with Principal Secretary to the Governor, Hon. Hillary Ibegbulem, who he described as a reliable friend who is like a brother to him.
    His words, “I am here to join my brother and friend, Hon Hilary Ibegbulem to lay his uncle and forester father who passed on recently, to rest, Hilary is a reliable friend who is like a brother to me. An occasion like this demands that his friends rally around him to condole the family for the irredeemable loss.
    The Late Chief Okwuobi was a strong PDP leader in Ute Okpu and a well respected Chief in the community.
    I pray God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the painful lost. May his soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen.” Dr Nwoko concluded.
