NWOKO FOUNDATION’S 4TH GOLF TOURNAMENT HOLDS TOMORROW MARCH 7, MEGA PRIZES AT STAKE

As part of his efforts to use the instruments of sports to boost tourism in Delta State, vis-a-vis Nigeria, the Chairman/CEO Ned Nwoko Foundation and President, Project Tourism Nigeria, Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Munir Nwoko, has rolled out mega prizes for the Foundation’s 4th International Golf Tournament.

The one day Golf Classics is holding Tomorrow, Saturday 7th March 2020, at the Royal Golf Course, Mount Ned Nwoko Tourist and Cultural Centre, Idumuje Ugboko, Aniocha North LGA, Delta State. The Golf Tourney is packaged in honour of the Nigerian legendary Actor, Pete Edochie and mouthwatering fantastic prizes are at stake, but fabulous prizes are particularly on offer for, Hole In One and Nearest To The Pin winners.

It will be recalled that the 3rd edition of the tournament which was held on 23rd November, 2019 at same venues, attracted participants from across the globe, among whom were John Parker from the United States of America and Sergio Sousa from Brazil.

Speaking at that occasion, the sponsor of the event, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko, who is now leading an audacious campaign to eradicate malaria in Africa, stated that the ultimate goal of the Foundation’s golf tournaments is to host Golf World Series in Idumuje Ugboko, Delta State, as a way of boosting the tourism industry in the country.
There is no doubt that the duo of John Parker and Sergio Sousa, others will participate in the 4th edition as they promised to try their skill once more on the Course, which they described as a difficult Course due to its unique bamboo and tree barriers.
