HONOURS INSPIRE ME TO DO MORE. — HON PRINCE NED NWOKO.

The initiator of the eradication of the scourge of malaria in Africa, Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko has stated that he is inspired to do more for humanity by the honour awards he receives from society.
The Antarctica explorer, stated this in the acceptance speech he delivered after the presentation of DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD presented to him by Delta State University Abraka. Delta State. on Saturday October 3rd, 2020
The award according to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Andy Egwuyenga, was conferred on him in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in life and most particularly for his recent efforts towards the eradication of the scourge of malaria in Africa.
In his acceptance speech Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko said, “First, for me, every honour of this nature inspires me to do more, life without humanity is nothing. So for me this award represents something very important not just becomes it is coming from my state. Yes about two years ago I was given an honorary Doctorate degree by the Federal University of Petroleum ( FUTRE) Efurrun, Warri, but of course this is nearer home. He stated.

Earlier the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Andy O. Egwunyenga, whilst presenting the DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD to Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko said, I am honoured to witness this once in a lifetime historic honour confer on Ned Nwoko for his outstanding accomplishments in life, when the proposal for the honour was brought before me I did not hesitate to approve it, because Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko is a man whose activities are focus on best values, he is a Star of the Nigerian people.

“He has a noble idea worth encouraging. To fight Malaria scourge in the whole of Africa is no joke. For this singular reason, we had to honour him to give him strength for the tasking journey.” Prof Egwuyanga stated.

The occasion was witnessed by eminent academics, host of royal fathers from Delta North Senatorial District and students.
