NIGERIA YOUTH CONGRESS PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR NED NWOKO MALARIA ERADICATION PROJECT.

The Delta State born Antarctica explorer and top African campaigner for the eradication of the scourge of malaria in the continent, Hon Prince (Dr)Ned Nwoko today in Abuja received a boost from the Nigeria Youth Congress.
The NYC during a courtesy visit to Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko pledged their unflinching support for the malaria eradication project been promoted by the Ned Nwoko Foundation. They commanded Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko for embarking on such a laudable life saving project and promised to be part of it so that together we can eradicate malaria in Africa starting with Nigeria.
In his response, Hon Prince (Dr) Ned Nwoko appreciated the leadership and members of the Nigeria Youth Congress for identifying with the malaria eradication project and narrated the painstaking efforts he is making to eradicate the major killer disease Africa.
He explained his journey to white desert ( the Antarctica) and the progress he achieved in meeting scientists who are working on malaria vaccine research and brief the group on his two part part approach to the malaria eradication project, which he outlined to include
1. Vaccination. This according to him involves the development of effective vaccine for malaria parasite and
2. Environmental clean up, which he said will involve every Nigerian participating in a far reaching environmental clean up of all the gutters, ponds and every dirt in our surrounding, including fumigation of all the likely mosquito breeding places.
He charge the member of the NYC to sensitise their members nationwide about the project and get ready for necessary mobilization to the field as soon as early next year.
