The people’s choice for the 2019 Delta North Senate Seat, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has told the good people of the district that he believe his partnership with Governor Okowa is best for Anioma nation.
He said that he and the Governor are friends, working together and hoping that the Governor will be reelected and himself elected as a senator and assured the people that the partnership will make things go very well for Anioma as a region adding that, that why he wants to partner with the Governor.

He said that “Governor Okowa is very different from other Governors we have had in the State” and described him as a prudent, disciplined, well organised, a complete gentleman and a man who respects everybody.

Prince Ned Nwoko made the statements at Boji Boji Owa, Ika North East Local Government Area, Monday, when he visited the party faithfuls in the local government area, in continuation of his consultation visit to the PDP grassroot stakeholders in the Delta north senatorial district.

The consultation took him round the 9 local government areas of Delta north, otherwise called Anioma nation.

The great philanthropist and international legal luminary, had on 4th April, flagged off the consultation visit at Isele Ukwu, headquarter of Aniocha North Local Government area, his local government of origin, where he told his people, of his intentions to represent the good people of Anioma nation at the Senate.

Man of the people, Prince Ned Nwoko received a rousing welcome by Oshimili people.

He told them that he believed in their powers to freely elect their representatives in government, which is what democracy means and added that, that was the reason why he is appealing to them to consider him as their candidate.
While pledging to give Anioma people a robust representation at the Senate and make the area proud, he also reminded them that Aniocha has never had a shot at the Senate for many years.

At Aboh, Kwale and Obiaruku, the man that saved Nigeria from deep recession, through Paris Refunds, thanked the people of Ndokwa nation for their unflinching support for his political aspirations over the years and assured them that his number one priority if elected a senator, will be to compel oil prospecting companies operating in the area to stop gas flaring, to built gas plants to collect the gas, adding that such measures will create jobs for the youths, generate additional revenue for the area and make the environment clean.
He also told the people that he will ensure that Ndokwa nation get fair shares of revenue and projects commensurable to the quantum of oil and gas produced in their area, adding that he will not allow the people to be short charged in anyway.

At Boji Boji Owa and Agbor, the Star Prince of Anioma nation, extolled the political importance of Ika nation in Delta State, which he identified not only in terms of her size and large voting population, but also for the fact that she produced the first Anioma born Governor of the State.
He told the people that he and Governor Okowa are working together to ensure that the Governor is reelected for second term, hoping that himself will be elected as a senator. He assured them that the pair of himself and Governor Okowa will bring good things to Anioma nation and that he wants the partnership.

While acknowledging that the next election will be a tough one, as the opposition APC are not sleeping, he enjoined Anioma people to come together, to work together to win battle.
He however, advised that like in a football competition, the PDP must feature its first eleven to ensure clean victory.

Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko further reminded the party stakeholders that the Governor has assured that there will be a level playing field during the party primary, this he said beholds on the delegates as adults to lay a good foundation for the growth and development of Anioma nation by making sure that only credible people with integrity are elected during the primary.

While telling the people that he will come back again to present his manifesto to them, to tell them what he will see done in Delta North as a senator, he however told them that he will donate his salaries and allowances to a trust fund for the care of the elderly, widows, award of scholarships to indigent students and to provide financial assistance to people to go into any business of their choice or to expand their businesses.

At Ogwashi Ukwu, Asaba and Akwukwu Igbo, the crowd pulling enigma and political colossus, Prince Ned Nwoko, promised the people a better deal and reminded them that his intentions of going to the Senate is not to make money but to consolidate on his legacy of helping the people, that he wants to get a wider platform to enable him do more good things for the people.
He told them that he will be accessible, accountable and responsible to them* and made it very clear that he will never use his influence as a senator to award contracts to himself or his company, but will ensure that due process are applied in the transaction of official business.

While promising to sponsor quality bills that will impact on the live of the people, which is his primary responsibility as a Senator, he also assured the people that as their senator, he will make sure that Anioma region are not left out in projects execution, programme and policy implementations of the Federal Government.

The great lion of Anioma nation was welcome back to his community, Idumuje Ugboko, at the end of the consultation tour by joyful mammoth crowd.
