PRINCE DR. NED NWOKO CONGRATULATES PA OKOWA ON HIS INSTALLATION AS OPARA UKWU OF IDUMU EBOR.
The Anioma Star Prince, Dr. Ned Nwoko has congratulated Sir, Chief Arhur Okowa, the father of Governor A. I. Okowa of Delta state and Patriarch of the Okowa dynasty on the occasion of his installation as the Okpara Ukwu of Idumu Ebor, Owa Alero.
The Delta North greatest preserver and promoter of Anioma culture enjoined the Okpara Ukwu, as the custodian of Idumu Ebor culture to use his experience as an educationist and writer/author to revive, preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Idumu Ebor people.
The cultural, sports, education and tourism investment icon equally used the opportunity to enjoin Deltans in particular and Nigerians in general, to embrace every activities that will promote community tourism as a way of attracting tourists, jobs, development and increase business opportunities at the rural communities.
This, according to him will go a long way in curbing rural-urban drift with its attendant socioeconomic problems.
While wishing the Okapra Ukwu a peaceful and eventful reign in office, the Anioma people’s choice for senate 2019, pray God to give him (the new Okpara Ukwu) wisdom, good health and long life to pilot the affairs of his people to greater Heights.
