The Antarctica explorer, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko yesterday Wednesday 16 December, joined other Aniocha North PDP leaders in a caucus meeting to pick the party’s flag bearer for the Local Government Council Chairmanship election, Coming up in March 2021. Negotiations to reach a consensus continues when a consensus could not be reached by the leaders at the meeting.

Addressing the press after the meeting, the former federal lawmaker said, “we expected all the aspirants to make themselves available so that we look at the best possible one among them to support. We want a credible candidate which we can present to the electorate during the Local Government Council elections. The people wants credible elections.
There is Still some kind of consensus. The guideline of the party was that every LGA should have a candidate by way of consensus. Negotiations continue. I accepted the decision reached today.” Prince Ned Nwoko concluded.

Main while the Malaria eradicator, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko, also yesterday, Wednesday 16 December, paid condolences visit to the member representing Aniocha North state constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Asaba, Hon (Engr) Emeka Emmanuel Nwaobi, whose father, late Sir Marcel Mekowuhe Nwaobi transited to eternity.

The Star Prince of Anioma land as Hon Prince Ned Nwoko is fondly called by his numerous fans, described the late elder Nwaobi, who was a Knight of Saint Mulumba (KSM), as an accomplished educationists who left behind a legacy of community service. He therefore charged the state law maker and his siblings to take solace in the fact their late father died serving God.

The great philanthropists also consoled the mother of the house and wife of the late Sir M M Nwaobi.

The late Sir Marcel Mekowuhe Nwaobi (KSM), a devoted Christian of the Catholic faith, transited to eternal glory on Sunday 27th August, 2020 after a brief illness, he was age 87 years.
He will be laid to rest this weekend, Friday 18th December, 2020, at Issele-Uku in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State.
