THE GRAND PATRON OF DELTA NUJ, HON PRINCE NED NWOKO CONGRATULATES NEW EXECUTIVE

The grand patron of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, Delta State Chapter, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko has congratulated the newly elected executive of the Union.
In a statement released to his media aides, the Antarctica explorer expressed delight that the keenly contested elections held on Tuesday October 6th 2020, was conducted peacefully without problems. He congratulated the newly elected executive for their election to pilot the affairs of the Union in coming years and commended the members for conducting a rancor free elections, whilst enjoining the returned Chairman, Comr. Michael Ikeogwu to carry everybody along to achieve stated objectives of the Union. He was very happy to hear that Comrade Patrick Ochei ( Secretary, Ned Media and Communication Directorate) was elected scribe of the Union and especially congratulated him for his victory at the poll, adding that he look forward to working with the Union in the areas of sensitization of the people on the cleanup Nigeria part of the malaria eradication project been promoted by his foundation, the Ned Nwoko Foundation.
The released statement reads in part, I am delighted to hear of the peaceful conduct of the Delta State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalist elections. I heard it was keenly contested. I want to congratulate the new executive for their election to handle the affairs of the Union in coming years and I commend members for conducting a peaceful election. I want to advice the reelected Chairman, Mr Michael Ikeogwu to carry everybody along to achieve stated objectives of the Union. I am very happy to hear that Patrick Ochei was elected secretary of the Union. I congratulate him especially for the victory.
I look forward to working with them in the areas of sensitisation of the people on the clean up Nigeria part of our malaria eradication project.” The statement concluded
