I have awarded scholarships to many students because I believe education to be the best thing you can do for a child. Education raised people above ignorance, superstition and disease.
Our children most be well educated for this country to develop and compete with other countries of the world. I have remained focus on ensuring that no child in Delta north is denied of education because he or she does not have the means to go to school.
We have awarded scholarships to hundreds of students in the first and second trench of the scholarship award programme. It is an ongoing process.

In the past we have issued cash to beneficiaries, but we have discovered that some of the funds are misused along the line.
